NTT Communications Retains World-Class Position For Global Data VPN In Ocean82 Customer Satisfaction Report

NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE:NTT) Group, announced today that the company and its “ Arcstar Universal One” global VPN service earned “World Class” Customer Satisfaction based on predicted organic growth and overall customer satisfaction in the recently published “Voice of the Customer: Global Data VPN, Issue 16,” a benchmarking report by UK marketing services firm Ocean82, Ltd.

According to Ocean82 Chief Executive Officer Janet Watkin: “Today’s network service providers are facing the toughest competition ever and it is increasingly important to better meet and satisfy customer needs by implementing a competitively superior customer – value delivery system. NTT Com has demonstrated that they are delivering a superior value package overall to customers for global data VPN and related services by exceeding the Ocean82 resilience benchmark that predicts sustainable competitive advantage.”

NTT Com’s outstanding level of customer satisfaction is also reflected in the 15 Gold Awards it received among 41 areas of measurement. In addition, NTT Com earned a World Record for achieving the highest level of billing accuracy in the history of Ocean82’s program of continuous research and analysis.

Ocean82 evaluated customer satisfaction levels among eight major global telecom operators, the others including AT&T, BT, Cable & Wireless, Orange Business, T-Systems, Telefonica and Verizon. The methodology involved interviewing decision-makers, influencers and end users at more than 1,000 multinational companies. The report considered not only major categories of customer service, but also 32 related service attributes.

NTT Com has been enhancing its global data communications services by raising the quality of its cloud-based VPN service, Arcstar Universal One, and through efforts such as its Arcstar Carrier Forum, an international conference organized annually for partner carriers to discuss strategies for strengthening Arcstar-branded managed network services offered to multinational corporations.
