Why CDW (CDW) Stock Is Gaining Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --Shares of CDW Corp. (CDW) are higher by 2.85% to $28.54 on Thursday after the company posted an increase in net income to $50.9 million for the 2014 first quarter, compared to $28.3 million from the same period last year.

The company, which provides integrated information technology solutions in the U.S. and Canada, reported net income per diluted share was 30 cents versus 19 cents from the 2013 first quarter.

CDW's net sales grew 10% for the most recent quarter to $2.652 billion, compared to $2.412 billion from the year ago quarter.
