Why Cobalt International Energy (CIE) Stock Is Down Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Cobalt International Energy  (CIE) fell Thursday after the company priced a public offering of $1.15 billion aggregate principal amount of its 3.125% convertible senior notes due 2024.

The offer includes a 12-day option for underwriters to purchase up to an additional $150,000,000 aggregate principal amount to cover any over-allotments.

The stock was down 6.34% to $17.28 at 11:10 a.m.
