NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks callers offered up during the Mad Money Lightning Round Wednesday evening:

BioMarin (BMRN): "This company is a survivor with real drugs and a real CEO."

Vale (VALE): "I gave up and am moving on. I don't like Brazil."

Alcatel-Lucent (ALU): "I want you to stick with it. I like that one and Nokia (NOK)."

New Gold (NGD): "No. If you want gold exposure, you go with SPDR Gold Shares (GLD)."

Southwest Airlines (LUV): "I like Southwest but American Airlines (AAL) is the one to own, then Delta Air Lines (DAL) and then Spirit Airlines (SAVE)... and then Southwest."

Abraxas Petroleum (AXAS): "Interesting spec but I'd go with SandRidge Energy (SD)."
