Oops! Netflix's Glitch Caused Some Shows to Not Load

NEW YORK (TheStreet) - Netflix (NFLX) fans, no your favorite shows have not been removed from its library but the streaming service did run into a glitch on Thursday afternoon, causing some shows not to load properly.

Of course, the news went right to Twitter (TWTR), where users made know their frustrations over the inability to see their favorite shows. Looks like House, The X Files, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Revenge and Bones were among the shows that could not be streamed.

Netflix responded on Twitter telling users not to worry, shows weren't gone and that its engineers were working on the matter.

As of press time, it looks like at least some shows were coming back online.

Netflix spokeswoman Jenny McCabe told TheStreet that a glitch affected a "handful" of shows. It has been fixed and that updates were rolling through the system. She did not have an exact number of shows that were affected.
