Why Silicon Graphics (SGI) Stock Is Plummeting Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Silicon Graphics (SGI) shares are down -14.1% to $10.40 on Thursday following the release of the company's third quarter 2014 earnings report.

During the quarter the company posted revenue of $124 million, a -47% drop from the year ago period, falling short of analysts $131.1 million estimates.

The company also reported a NON-GAAP net loss of $7 million, or 20 cents per share, missing analysts estimates by 4 cents.
