NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- On CNBC's "Cramer's Mad Dash" segment, TheStreet's Jim Cramer, co-manager of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio, discussed the the U.S. and European Union sanctions to be imposed on Russian individuals and corporations close to President Vladimir Putin.
Cramer said a major concern is whether Russia will shut down its natural gas supply to Eastern Europe.
Would Putin collaborate with Igor Sechin, CEO of Rosneft, a Russian oil and gas company that is majority-owned by the Russian government? Cramer asked.
From the corporate aspect, the problem is that Putin could theoretically seal off Russia from the rest of the world.
