The stock ranged in price between $3.16-$3.24 after having opened the day at $3.22 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $3.22. Other companies within the Media industry that declined today were: ChinaNet Online Holdings ( CNET), down 10.8%, McClatchy ( MNI), down 5.8%, Tiger Media ( IDI), down 5.7% and Netflix ( NFLX), down 5.2%.

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. provides satellite radio services in the United States and Canada. Sirius XM Radio has a market cap of $19.3 billion and is part of the services sector. Shares are down 7.7% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday. Currently there are 7 analysts that rate Sirius XM Radio a buy, 1 analyst rates it a sell, and 2 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Sirius XM Radio as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, good cash flow from operations and expanding profit margins. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had sub par growth in net income.

On the positive front, Liberty Media Corp Class B ( LVNTB), up 6.5%, NTN Buzztime ( NTN), up 6.1%, Digital Cinema Destinations ( DCIN), up 6.0% and VisionChina Media ( VISN), up 5.4%.

For investors not wanting singular stock exposure, ETFs may be of interest. Investors who are bullish on the media industry could consider PowerShares Dynamic Media ( PBS) while those bearish on the media industry could consider ProShares Ultra Sht Consumer Services ( SCC).
