Why Antero Resources (AR) Stock Is Lower Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Antero Resources (AR) is trading lower on Monday after the company cut its production estimates for two sections of its Utica holdings. In a statement, the oil and natural gas producer said it had reduced estimates on one section by 34% and another by 31%. The company has holdings in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennyslvannia.

By early afternoon, shares had taken off 3.4% to $61.10.
