NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares in GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (GTAT) are up 2.11% to $16.44 on Friday.

The LED lighting equipment manufacturer signed a deal, worth $336 million, to supply manufacturing equipment to a Malaysian photovoltaic production plant, Cosmos Petroleum and Mining.
