Sanchez Computer Associates (SCAI) was up 38.7% in midmorning after saying it expects to post a surprise fourth-quarter profit. The Street expects the financial software company to lose 5 cents per share in the period. Sanchez did not give a specific estimate. The company said license revenue was better than expected.
