The company's restaurants offer various food items, soft drinks, coffee, and other beverages, as well as breakfast menus. McDonald's Corporation has a market cap of $94.9 billion and is part of the services sector. Shares are down 0.9% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are 11 analysts that rate McDonald's Corporation a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and 11 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates McDonald's Corporation as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, good cash flow from operations, growth in earnings per share, increase in net income and expanding profit margins. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had lackluster performance in the stock itself.

On the negative front, Caesars Entertainment ( CZR), down 7.4%, Caesars Acquisition ( CACQ), down 5.8%, Famous Dave's of America ( DAVE), down 4.4% and Chanticleer Holdings ( HOTR), down 3.5%.
