Why Tableau Software (DATA) Is Falling Today

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Tableau Software (DATA) was falling 7.5% to $83.29 Friday on news of the pricing of an increased public offering of 4 million shares.

Tableau price the public offering of 4 million shares at $89.25 a share. The company originally announced it would offer 3.5 million shares in the public offering. The underwriters of the offering were granted a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 600,000 shares.

The software company stands to gain $376 million in gross proceeds from the offering.
