Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) today announced that Palace Cinemas has signed an agreement to use Cinedigm’s newest industry changing, web-based, circuit-wide operational and oversight software, ENTERPRISE WEB, in all of its existing and upcoming theaters. ENTERPRISE WEB expands the rich functionality of the Cinedigm “Theatre Control Center” (TCC3) theatre management system for operational insight and control centralization for every theatre in the circuit.

Palace Cinemas comprises 85 screens across 20 locations in Australia, the majority of which include fully licensed bar/café facilities. As Australia's pre-eminent independent entertainment group, Palace is renowned as a provider of fully licensed, luxurious cinemas for the discerning movie patron and employs in excess of 500 staff.

ENTERPRISE WEB allows exhibitors to oversee their entire operation from anywhere in the world on any handheld or desktop device. This includes circuit-wide efficiency monitoring, programming the preshow, creating rules to ensure the proper ads and trailers are automatically added to show playlists, and transferring files to the proper players during off-peak time periods.

“We worked very hard with Palace to customize a model for ENTERPRISE that worked for them,” said Dan Sherlock, President of Cinedigm Software. “Palace has always been a technologically advanced company and they clearly recognized the need for the visibility and functionality that ENTERPRISE WEB delivers to operate in the ‘on the go’ age of mobile applications. We knew that by collaborating we could help them improve efficiency, flexibility and ultimately provide a better overall experience to their customer.”

ENTERPRISE WEB “soft” launched in the U.S. on August 1, 2013 with Southern Theatres, Goodrich Quality Theaters, Pacific Theatres and Neighborhood Cinema Group as charter clients for this impactful web application which allows for un-tethered operational controls from wherever a circuit manager happens to be.
