Apple (AAPL) was downgraded at Oppenheimer to perform. Guidance showed the supply has caught up with demand in most regions for new products, Oppenheimer said.

AllianceBernstein (AB) was upgraded to buy at TheStreet Ratings.

BB&T (BBT) was downgraded at Morgan Stanley to equal-weight. Valuation call, based on a 12-month price target of $43, Morgan Stanley said.

Discover Financial (DFS) was upgraded at Morgan Stanley to overweight. Twelve-month price target is $66. Company is leveraged to increased U.S. consumer spending, Morgan Stanley said.

Fortinet (FTNT) was upgraded at JMP Securities to outperform from market perform. Twelve-month price target is $26. Estimates were also increased, as growth should accelerate in 2014 and beyond, JMP Securities said.

Southwest Airlines (LUV) was upgraded at Imperial Capital to outperform. Twelve-month price target is $26. Expiration of the Wright amendment could lead to meaningful route optimization, Imperial Capital said.

Martin Marietta (MLM) was upgraded at Stifel Nicolaus to buy from hold. Twelve-month price target is $125. Many growth headwinds are behind the company, Stifel Nicolaus said.

Realpage (RP) was downgraded to hold at TheStreet Ratings.

Sanmina (SANM) was upgraded at Needham to buy from hold. Twelve-month price target is $19. Company continues to execute well, Needham said.

Sally Beauty (SBH) was upgraded at Sterne Agee to buy from neutral. Twelve-month price target is $33. Company has multiple potential drivers to turn the business around in 2014, Sterne Agee said.

Synaptics (SYNA) was downgraded at Oppenheimer to perform from outperform. Valuation call, as the stock is up 43% since September, Oppenheimer said.

Vulcan Materials (VMC) was upgraded at Stifel Nicolaus to buy from hold. Twelve-month price target is $69. Company should see higher demand in the coming quarters, Stifel Nicolaus said.

Caterpillar (CAT) estimates, price target were boosted at BMO Capital. Twelve-month price target is now $96. Company is seeing higher demand and buying back more stock, BMO Capital said. Market Perform rating.

Caterpillar estimates, price target were boosted at UBS. Twelve-month price target is now $99. Driven by better revenues and high operating margins, with a positive tone on mining, UBS said. EPS estimates were also raised through 2015. Neutral rating.

Google (GOOG) 12-month price target was boosted at Jefferies. Strength in core search business and positive data from Google's ad partners, Jefferies said. $1,300 price target and buy rating.

Nucor (NUE) was added to the US1 List at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. Stock has pulled back to an attractive level, BofA/Merrill said. Twelve-month price target is $60.

VeriFone Systems (PAY) price target was lifted at Jefferies. Shares are now seen reaching $34 over 12 months. New mPOS market accretive to the global market for payment terminals, Jefferies said. Buy rating.

Plum Creek (PCL) 12-month price target was cut at UBS. The company lowered its estimates through 2015. Driven by lower assumption for land sale income, UBS said. Twelve-month price target is $36. Sell rating.

Royal Caribbean (RCL) numbers were raised at Credit Suisse. Twelve-month price target is now $53. Estimates were also increased, as the company is seeing higher demand in Europe and Asia, Credit Suisse said. Outperform rating.

Seagate (STX) estimates, 12-month price target were reduced at BMO Capital. Estimates were cut through 2015. Company lowered its guidance, BMO Capital said. Market Perform rating and new $58 price target.

Whole Foods (WFM) estimates, price target were cut at Sterne Agee. Twelve-month price target is now $61. Estimates were also reduced, as the company is seeing slower sales growth, Sterne Agee said. Buy rating.
