Beginning with the founding of Polak & Schwarz on January 27 th, 1889 in Zutphen, the Netherlands, and culminating in the 1958 merger with van Ameringen-Haebler to form IFF in New York, the Company attributes its long success to its employees, customers, partners, and shareholders. “We are a company of passionate, creative, expert and empowered people,” said Doug Tough, Chairman and CEO of IFF. “As we look through our long history, we see exemplars of these core corporate values in our people since our inception.
