IHG ® Rewards Club, the hotel loyalty program for IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), today announced a new relationship with leading Latin American airline Avianca through its Frequent Flyer program, LifeMiles. The new partnership will offer benefits to members of both loyalty programs, allowing members to earn LifeMiles when they stay at any of IHG’s 4,600 hotels worldwide, including the following brands: InterContinental ® Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza ® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo ® Hotels, Holiday Inn ® Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort ® Hotels, Holiday Inn Club Vacations ®, Holiday Inn Express ® Hotels, Staybridge Suites ® Hotels and Candlewood Suites ® Hotels. IHG ® Rewards Club members also will be able to redeem points for LifeMiles, which can be used as currency to purchase travel on Avianca or any Star Alliance member carrier, and for many other options with a diverse range of commercial partners around the world. To participate, IHG ® Rewards Club members must designate LifeMiles as their earning preference in their IHG ® Rewards Club member profile.
