Credit Acceptance Announces $300 Million Senior Notes Offering

Southfield, Michigan, Jan. 16, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Credit Acceptance Corporation( NASDAQ: CACC) (referred to as the"Company", "Credit Acceptance", "we", "our", or "us") announcedtoday that it plans to offer $300 million of senior notes due 2021(the "notes"). We intend to use the net proceeds from the offering,together with borrowings under our revolving credit facility, toredeem in full the $350.0 million outstanding principal amount ofour 9.125% first priority senior secured notes due 2017 (the "2017notes") in accordance with the terms of the indenture governing the2017 notes. Pending this application of the net proceeds from theoffering, the net proceeds may be invested in short-terminvestments or applied to repay borrowings under our revolvingcredit facility without reducing the lenders' commitmentsthereunder.

The notes will be offered in the United Statesto qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under theSecurities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), andoutside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under theSecurities Act.
