Comcast Opens New XFINITY Store In Orem

Comcast is opening a new XFINITY store in Orem, and is holding a two-day grand opening Dec. 20 – 21 to celebrate. The new store, at 21 W. University Parkway in Orem replaces a location at 542 W. 400 South in Lindon, with a sleek new updated look and more enhanced opportunity to explore and interact directly with the latest XFINITY products and services.

The XFINITY store features large flat-screen TVs and a comfortable lounge area where customers can try out Comcast’s converged services and popular apps on iPads, like the XFINITY TV app. The public is welcome to stop by the store to experience Internet, phone, home security and automation offerings as well. XFINITY customers can also exchange hardware, sign up for service, pay bills and receive assistance from Comcast team members.

On Friday, Dec. 20, the Jazz Bear will make a visit from 3 to 4:45 p.m., and on Sat., Dec. 21, Real Salt Lake player, Kwame Watson-Siriboe will greet customers and sign autographs from noon to 1 p.m. in the store. Parents can bring in their children to get their photos taken with Santa from 1 to 5 p.m., and visitors can play the GSN “Minute to Win It” game, and enjoy cookies and other fun activities both days.

The Comcast team will provide free parental control demos all day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. so parents can learn how to make technology available to their children while making sure the content is age appropriate.

The Xfinity store is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
