Prudential’s Judy Rice Receives NAFE Women Of Excellence Award

The National Association for Female Executives, NAFE, has named Judy Rice, Chief Diversity Officer of Prudential Investment Management (PIM) as a 2013 Women of Excellence Award recipient in the Activist category. “The NAFE Women of Excellence are notable as leaders at their companies and in their communities for innovating products and projects and for improving the health and well-being of those they serve,” says Dr. Betty Spence, NAFE president. “We recognize them not only for their accomplishments and talents, but also for ensuring the success of other women.”

Judy Rice is ranked among the investment industry’s most influential executives and has been recognized for her commitment to attracting diverse talent to the financial services industry. A passionate activist for women, in her current role reporting directly to the President and CEO of PIM, Judy implemented leadership skill training for women in and piloted training in financial acumen and managing a P&L which will be introduced in 2014, spearheaded the launch of women’s mentoring programs for high potential women and women of color and started “Strategies for Success” where senior women host informal mentoring discussions with mid-level career women.
