The company has a P/E ratio of 153.1, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 47.9% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are 2 analysts that rate Sohu.com a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and 6 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Sohu.com as a hold. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including feeble growth in the company's earnings per share, deteriorating net income and disappointing return on equity.

On the positive front, Radisys Corporation ( RSYS), up 24.6%, icad ( ICAD), up 22.1%, Plug Power ( PLUG), up 13.8% and BOS Better Online Solutions ( BOSC), up 12.8% , were all gainers within the technology sector with Emerson Electric ( EMR) being today's featured technology sector leader.
