Family Dollar Announces Executive Departure

Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) announced today that Jeffrey W. Macak, Executive Vice President–Supply Chain, has resigned from the Company for personal reasons, effective November 27, 2013. The Company intends to conduct a search for Mr. Macak’s replacement.
