Compuware Changepoint Positioned Again In

DETROIT, Nov. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq:CPWR) the technology performance company announced today that it has once again been positioned by Gartner Inc. in the "Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis (IIPA) Applications." This positioning is based on analyst evaluation of the company's market leading project and portfolio management solution Changepoint 1.

According to Gartner, "The IIPA software market helps IT leaders link, monitor, analyze and communicate their activities on a single portfolio-level software platform, providing CIOs and other executives with holistic views of the IT portfolio while IT plans and executes in response to business and IT strategies."

As Gartner writes, "Leaders in this Magic Quadrant meet many portfolio management needs of multiple domains within IT; they can also support many different IT portfolio scenarios, as well as multiple IT domain roles for IIPA. We are continuing to see a resurgence of interest among our more mature IT customers in achieving greater efficiency through a better understanding of their IT and application portfolios. Leading-edge organizations are acting as a service to the business, as they seek to be smarter about the deployment of resources, and the opportunity to control costs."
