Kohl’s Donates $50,000 To The American Red Cross For Typhoon Haiyan Relief Efforts In The Philippines

Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) today announced a $50,000 cash donation toward Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts in the Philippines. Kohl’s is providing this donation to the American Red Cross, which is delivering much-needed emergency supplies and services in the impacted areas.

“We are deeply saddened by the devastation and heartache experienced by so many people throughout the Philippines,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief customer officer. “Kohl’s is proud to be in a position to help and hope the financial assistance will provide needed support during this difficult time.”

Should associates and customers choose to support the relief efforts, an unrestricted donation can be made to the International Response Fund at www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767).
