The Great Ryland Homes Toy Drive Delivers Holiday Wishes To Deserving Children

This holiday season, Ryland Homes will, once again, proudly designate its Sales Centers as official Marine Toys for Tots donation stations. Through the generosity of Ryland homebuyers, homeowners, our contractor partners and our employee contributions, some much-needed joy will be spread to deserving children across the country.

The Great Ryland Homes Toy Drive will run from November 25 to December 15. Official Toys for Tots donation stations will be located at participating Ryland Homes Sales Centers nationwide where visitors can drop off new, unwrapped toys to help make this a holiday season so many children will never forget.

Ryland Homes is proud to be a National Corporate Sponsor of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation for a second consecutive year. Since 1947, Marines have distributed more than 452 million toys to more than 209 million needy children. Over its lifespan, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has supplemented local toy collections with more than 98 million toys, valued at more than $694 million. While the Marines coordinate and manage the program, the Foundation’s success depends on the support of the local community and the kindness of people who donate toys.

“Ryland Homes is honored to be a National Corporate Sponsor for Toys for Tots,” said Larry Nicholson, Ryland’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to knowing that the toys we collect will go directly to families with children who would otherwise do without during the holiday season.”

Since 1967, Ryland has been committed to building high quality energy-efficient new homes. Today, rooted in its national strength, local focus and unwavering commitment to the customer, Ryland proudly builds in 17 states across the country and was named by BUILDER magazine the 2012 Fastest-Growing Public Homebuilder.
