(NYSE: CNW), today announced that its state-of-the-art warehousing and retail distribution management center at Sunview Way in Singapore has earned the Singapore Building and Construction Authority's (BCA) Green Mark GoldPlus certification. The Green Mark rating system evaluates buildings for their environmental impact and performance, focusing on energy efficiency, water efficiency, environmental protection, indoor environmental quality and other green features and innovation. The facility is among the first to be designated as such under the program and was constructed using advanced green building design and construction materials, emphasizing environmental sustainability and high levels of energy and water-use efficiency. The Green Mark program, endorsed and supported by the National Environment Agency, is an initiative to drive Singapore's construction industry toward more environmentally friendly buildings.
