TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (NYSE:AMTD) today announced company metrics for October 2013.

Monthly activities for October 2013 included:
  • An average of 420,000 client trades per day in October 2013, up 27 percent from October 2012 and up 8 percent from September 2013.
  • $573.9 billion in total client assets as of Oct. 31, 2013, up 22 percent from October 2012 and up 3 percent from September 2013.
  • Average spread-based balances of $90.0 billion, up 16 percent from October 2012 and essentially flat from September 2013. (1)
  • Average fee-based balances of $128.1 billion, up 31 percent from October 2012 and up 3 percent from September 2013. (1)
