Sterling Construction Company Is Apparent Low Bidder On A Texas Department Of Transportation Project Valued At Approximately $38 Million

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. (NasdaqGS:STRL) (“Sterling” or “the Company”) today announced that its affiliate, Texas Sterling Construction Company (“Texas Sterling”), was the apparent low bidder on a $38 million Texas Department of Transportation (“TxDOT”) project. The project consists of six miles of rural paving, dirt work, storm drains and two sets of bridges northeast of McKinney in Collin County, TX, about one hour north of Dallas. The project is scheduled to begin in August 2014 and to take approximately 32 months to complete.
