KB Home (NYSE:KBH), one of the nation’s largest and most recognized homebuilders, today announced the grand opening of its CrossCreek community located in the Bandera-Culebra West corridor of San Antonio. Served by the top-rated Northside Independent School District and convenient to major roadways, the Bandera-Culebra West corridor is among San Antonio’s most desirable places to live. Planned amenities at KB Home’s CrossCreek include a children's playground and a community swimming pool, further enhancing its appeal. CrossCreek is located on FM 1560, just outside Loop 1604 between Culebra and Schaenfield Roads. KB Home plans to open CrossCreek in phases, offering a variety of home designs and floor plans to suit a wide range of homebuyer needs. CrossCreek’s first phase, debuting this weekend, Saturday, November 2 at an event from noon to 3:00 p.m., will present home shoppers with their choice of 11 one-and two-story floor plans, ranging between 1,516 and 2,960 square feet, with up to six bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. When built out, CrossCreek will be home to approximately 600 families. Prospective buyers at KB Home’s CrossCreek can tour the community’s two model homes to see the various choices available in a new KB home, including a 3.2 kw SunPower solar system showcased on the roof of a two-story 2403 sq ft plan. KB homes are already some of the most energy-efficient available today, which can translate into reduced utility bills for KB homeowners. As a Build San Antonio Green partner and ENERGY STAR® certified builder, KB homes are approximately 15% more efficient than standard new homes. Adding solar power to a new KB home can increase a home’s energy efficiency, further lowering energy costs. “KB Home is proud to be a leader in sustainable residential building practices, and our homes that conserve water and energy can also help save our homeowners money every month on their utility expenses,” said Brett Dietz, president of KB Home’s San Antonio division. “With efficiency already built-in, our homeowners can focus on designing the home of their dreams at CrossCreek through the choices they make at the KB Home Studio.”
