Eaton Quarterly Dividend Payable November 22, 2013

The Board of Directors of power management company Eaton (NYSE:ETN) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per ordinary share payable November 22, 2013 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 4, 2013. Eaton has paid a dividend every year since 1923.

Eaton estimates that a significant portion of the dividend will be treated as a return of capital to U.S. shareholders. Eaton is required to file an IRS form indicating the estimated percentage of the dividend to be treated as a return of capital to U.S. shareholders after each quarterly cash dividend is paid.
