A.M. Best Assigns Ratings To AmTrust Insurance Luxembourg S.A.

A.M. Best Co. has assigned a financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and an issuer credit rating of “a” to AmTrust Insurance Luxembourg S.A. (AILSA) (Luxembourg). The outlook assigned to both ratings is stable.

The ratings reflect the explicit support provided by AmTrust Financial Services, Inc’s (AFSI) (NASDAQ:AFSI) Bermuda subsidiary, AmTrust International Insurance, Ltd. (AIIL), in the form of an intercompany quota share agreement that was executed following regulatory approval. All remaining ratings of AFSI and its subsidiaries are unchanged. (Please see A.M.
