Intellicheck Mobilisa Wins Contract To Install ID Readers At Visitor Control Center At Secure U.S. Government Facility

Intellicheck Mobilisa, Inc. (NYSE MKT:IDN), a global leader in identity solutions and wireless security systems, recently installed its ID readers at the visitor control center at one of the nation’s most secure facilities. The value of the contract is approximately $250,000.

The Intellicheck IM2620h Prox-PACS Reader can read barcodes, magnetic stripes and proximity cards, as well as RFID tags embedded inside ID cards. This reader reads military IDs, U.S. Government Common Access Cards (CAC), U.S. and Canadian drivers licenses, as well as facility-issued visitor badges from vendors of major visitor centers such as Lenel and AMAG Technology.

The system can also read Department of Homeland Security TWIC cards. TWIC cards are required by workers at U.S. seaports, and are being used by other federal agencies as a secure, convenient and inexpensive means to badge their vendors. The TWIC card requires a government background check, allows for PIN and fingerprint verification, and has a government-managed process of validating products via the TSA Qualified Technology List or QTL. TSA has issued over two million TWIC cards to workers and vendors.

Dr. Nelson Ludlow, CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa, said, “We are honored to assist in security for one of the most well-known secure facilities in the United States. The ID readers we provided are among the most advanced ID readers in the world. We are grateful for the opportunity we have been given by the government to install our readers at this facility and look forward to a long working relationship.”
