Hesse will accept the award tonight at the 2013 COMMIT!Forum in New York City. CR Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual whose risk-taking, vision and pioneering spirit have led to significant achievement in the field over the course of their career. To combat distracted driving, Sprint developed Sprint Drive First, a smartphone application that locks the device when a car is travelling more than 10 mph, directs incoming calls to voicemail and silences alerts for emails and text messages.
