(NASDAQ:SPLK), the leading software platform for real-time operational intelligence, today announced that Splunk Enterprise was named the “Most Innovative Big Data Tool” in the competition “Best Big Data in 2013” by COMPUTERWOCHE, a leading German-language weekly magazine for enterprise IT managers and IT professionals. Splunk Enterprise was honored with two awards, one by the live audience and another by a panel of experts. Approximately 200 IT executives, IT managers and decision makers in various departments of small and large corporations judged the audience award. A group of big data and IT experts selected by COMPUTERWOCHE judged the jury award.
