Throughout the day, 425,987 shares of Priceline.com exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 658,700 shares. The stock ranged in a price between $937.21-$952.62 after having opened the day at $945.00 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $942.83. Other companies within the Leisure industry that increased today were: Good Times Restaurants ( GTIM), up 11.4%, Nathans Famous ( NATH), up 6.2%, PokerTek ( PTEK), up 6.0% and Sonic Corporation ( SONC), up 4.6%.

Shares are up 52.0% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday. Currently there are 17 analysts that rate Priceline.com a buy, no analysts rate it a sell, and none rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Priceline.com as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, solid stock price performance, impressive record of earnings per share growth and compelling growth in net income. Although no company is perfect, currently we do not see any significant weaknesses which are likely to detract from the generally positive outlook.

On the negative front, Kona Grill ( KONA), down 5.0%, Dover Downs Gaming & Entertainment ( DDE), down 3.7%, Burger King Worldwide ( BKW), down 1.8% and Del Frisco's Restaurant Group ( DFRG), down 1.8%.

For investors not wanting singular stock exposure, ETFs may be of interest. Investors who are bullish on the leisure industry could consider PowerShares Dynamic Leisure&Entert ( PEJ) while those bearish on the leisure industry could consider ProShares Ultra Sht Consumer Services ( SCC).
