The stock ranged in a price between $10.12-$10.93 after having opened the day at $10.65 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $9.76. Other companies within the Telecommunications industry that increased today were: InfoSonics Corporation ( IFON), up 11.9%, Straight Path Communications ( STRP), up 10.6%, Glowpoint ( GLOW), up 10.5% and AudioCodes ( AUDC), up 8.2%.

BlackBerry Limited engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of wireless solutions worldwide. BlackBerry has a market cap of $4.8 billion and is part of the technology sector. Shares are down 22.2% year to date as of the close of trading on Friday. Currently there are 3 analysts that rate BlackBerry a buy, 15 analysts rate it a sell, and 8 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates BlackBerry as a sell. The company's weaknesses can be seen in multiple areas, such as its disappointing return on equity and weak operating cash flow.
