A.M. Best Assigns Debt Ratings To The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.’s New Shelf Registration

A.M. Best Co. has assigned indicative ratings of “bbb+” on senior unsecured debt, “bbb” on subordinated debt and “bbb-” on junior subordinated debt and preferred stock to the recently filed shelf registration of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., (The Hartford) (Hartford, CT) (NYSE:HIG). The outlook assigned is stable. The Hartford’s existing financial strength, issuer credit and debt ratings are unchanged.
