SED Hosts Cutting Edge Reseller Event In Atlanta Partnered With Lenovo And Microsoft Around Touch Technology

SED International Holdings, Inc. (NYSE MKT: SED), completed its first Touch focus group partnered with Microsoft and Lenovo July 18 th in Atlanta. This cutting edge event hosted reseller companies from various geographic regions to discuss opportunities around the growing SMB touch market. The benefits of the event went far beyond information sessions alone and extended into business planning geared towards equipping resellers with the knowledge and marketing resources needed to dominate in the emerging and exciting touch market.

The sessions kicked off with Dan Shapero, Founder ClikCloud, providing a research overview and market trends driving touch technology. Dan brought a wealth of expertise in devising go-to-market strategies for the technology industry. Dan has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, and his enthusiasm, energy and ability to execute have benefited a wide range of hi-tech companies. Dan and Robert O’Malley, SED’s President and CEO, co-authored a whitepaper titled “Is Your Business Built for Touch?” which was released at the event.

That discussion was followed by Chun Lee, Lenovo US Distribution Leader, taking the group through touch technology from Lenovo’s perspective. Lee’s session covered Lenovo’s exciting array of hardware and the market opportunity driving touch.

The later part of the event was utilized as a workshop for personalized business plan development. The group ended the productive day with the rollout of 10 end user SMB leads for real life execution of Lenovo touch devices into the marketplace.
