Sap has a market cap of $86.9 billion and is part of the technology sector. Shares are down 9.3% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are 4 analysts that rate Sap a buy, 2 analysts rate it a sell, and 12 rate it a hold.

The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, reasonable valuation levels, good cash flow from operations, expanding profit margins and increase in stock price during the past year. Although the company may harbor some minor weaknesses, we feel they are unlikely to have a significant impact on results.

On the negative front, SciQuest ( SQI), down 16.4%, AVG Technologies ( AVG), down 9.8%, Guidance Software ( GUID), down 9.4% and Velti ( VELT), down 9.0% , were all laggards within the computer software & services industry with ServiceNow ( NOW) being today's computer software & services industry laggard.
