(NYSE: AN), America's largest automotive retailer, today announced that its total retail new vehicle unit sales in July 2013, as reported to the applicable automotive manufacturers, were 25,403, an increase of 17% as compared to July 2012. Same-store retail new vehicle unit sales in July 2013 were 24,195, an increase of 12% as compared to July 2012. Total retail new vehicle unit sales for AutoNation's operating segments were as follows:
7,950 for Domestic, up 23% versus July 2012,
13,066 for Import, up 14% versus July 2012, and
4,387 for Premium Luxury, up 19% versus July 2012.
