HANOVER, Md., July 31, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KEYW Corporation (Nasdaq:KEYW) announced today the formation of Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. and introduced the HawkEye family of products and services. Hexis Cyber Solutions comprises KEYW's "Project G" organization and Sensage, Inc., acquired by KEYW in October 2012. Chris Fedde has been named President of Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. and will lead the new organization. "Hexis Cyber Solutions brings to market the most advanced platform of cyber awareness products and services available, leveraging KEYW's legacy of serving the most demanding customers in the U.S. Intelligence Community and Sensage's 'big data' approach to security analytics," commented Leonard Moodispaw, CEO and President of KEYW Corporation. "The HawkEye family of products combines big data analytics, community threat sharing, and automated remediation capabilities that form a true 'active defense' system designed to counter the most advanced and serious cyber threats to an enterprise. We believe these new products and services will offer a new level of cyber awareness to government and commercial markets alike." The HawkEye family of products will initially have two offerings: HawkEye G: The Active Defense Grid (formerly known as Project G) for countering advanced persistent threats and HawkEye AP: The Analytics Platform (formerly the Sensage Event Data Warehouse) for applications including log management, call detail record/internet protocol data record management, and risk and compliance applications. Other unique cyber technologies acquired by KEYW Corporation last year from Rsignia, Inc. and Dilijent Solutions, LLC are being integrated into the Hexis Cyber Solutions product lines. "KEYW have spent many years understanding and supporting leading edge security at a national level and have acquired some excellent technologies to support this work," commented Justin Speake, CEO of Bloor Research. "Integrating these within HawkEye provides a cohesive platform for detecting and responding to the Indicators of Compromise giving organisations the opportunity to govern the threats to their business far more effectively."
