Atlanta-based Allconnect, Inc., today announced it is partnering with CL&P and Yankee Gas to launch Allconnect’s Move Advisor service, offering customers a free, one stop resource to receive personalized assistance with home service choices. With one call, customers contacting CL&P or Yankee Gas to transfer or establish service will have the opportunity to speak with an Allconnect Home Service Advisor who reviews the numerous home services options specifically available at their new address, including satellite TV, cable TV, Internet, phone, and home security systems. After discussing the plans, promotions, and bundles available, the Advisor then takes the order and schedules installation, providing end-to-end service. “Prior to our recent merger, NSTAR customers were already experiencing the benefits of Allconnect. Due to the success of that program, we’re excited to introduce it to our customers in Connecticut,” said Penni Conner, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of Northeast Utilities, parent company of CL&P, Yankee Gas and NSTAR. “Allconnect’s approach improves customer satisfaction, which is a core component of our commitment to customers.” Allconnect reaches more than 50 million households throughout the U.S and is the national leader in connecting moving utility customers with essential home services. The partnership with New England’s largest energy delivery company and Fortune 500 member expands Allconnect’s reach in Massachusetts and adds Connecticut to its expanding footprint. “Since 1998, Allconnect has made a deep commitment to the utility industry to improve customer engagement and assist utilities with their strategic goals,” said Allconnect CEO Mark Miller. “Allconnect has a proven track record of assisting movers during a critical time in their life, which increases their satisfaction and perception of their utility. We are pleased to add CL&P and Yankee Gas to our growing roster of utility partners and provide a service to their customers that will exceed their expectations.”
