NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Here are some of the hot stocks Jim Cramer talked about on Tuesday's "Mad Money" on CNBC: SBUX data by YCharts
Starbucks ( SBUX): Some companies can take commodities and turn them into proprietary products that garner higher sales and better margins. Cramer said Starbucks is one of those few companies that have achieved this lofty goal.
Nike ( NKE) or Under Armour ( UA): Which one of these athletic apparel makers is best for your portfolio? Cramer said it depends. For younger investors, he suggested Under Armour, but for shorter time horizons the slow and steady Nike is an excellent choice.
Gigamon Technology ( GIMO): This newly minted enterprise network equipment provider has what it takes to thrive and survive, said Cramer, who recommended the stock.
Amazon.com ( AMZN), Netflix ( NFLX) and Tesla Motors ( TSLA): Cramer said these three high-fliers seem to defy gravity, which is why he just cannot recommend them on "Mad Money."
