Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) today announced the advancement of Thomas R. Day, group vice president, foodservice, to group vice president, Refrigerated Foods. As a result, Deanna T. Brady, vice president of sales, foodservice, will advance to group vice president, foodservice, and Mark J. Ourada, foodservice regional sales manager, will advance to vice president of sales, foodservice. These advancements will become effective Oct. 28, 2013. “Tom, Deanna and Mark have made significant contributions to the foodservice division with their leadership,” said Jeffrey M. Ettinger, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer. “We congratulate them on their advancements and look forward to their continued leadership.” Day Day began his career at Hormel Foods in 1981, as a relief sales representative in San Antonio, Texas. He held several positions as a sales representative, and in 1989 was promoted to manager of national accounts, foodservice, at the Corporate Office (Austin, Minn.). In 1998, he advanced to the role of director of foodservice sales and became the vice president of sales, foodservice, in 2000. In 2007, he became senior vice president, foodservice, and in 2010 assumed his current role of group vice president, foodservice. Brady Brady began her career at Hormel Foods as a foodservice territory manager in Buffalo, N.Y., in 1996 after several years of experience in the food industry. In 1998, she became a foodservice account executive and a year later a foodservice area manager. In 2003, she was promoted to foodservice regional sales manager, and in 2007 assumed her current role of vice president of sales, foodservice, at the Corporate Office. Ourada Ourada began his career at Hormel Foods in 1988, as a relief sales and merchandiser in Minneapolis, Minn., and was promoted to sales representative and territory manager the same year. A year later, he became a foodservice sales representative in San Antonio, Texas. In 1993, he became the foodservice account manager in Denver, Colo., and in 1995 was promoted to foodservice account executive. In 1998, he moved back to Minneapolis, Minn., as a foodservice area manager, and in 2001 moved to his current position as a foodservice regional sales manager in Cincinnati, Ohio.
