Holding back the Dow today is Boeing (NYSE: BA), which is lagging the broader Dow index with a 19-cent decline (-0.2%) bringing the stock to $102.96. This single loss is lowering the Dow Jones Industrial Average by 1.44 points or roughly accounting for 3.2% of the Dow's overall loss. Volume for Boeing currently sits at 2.5 million shares traded vs. an average daily trading volume of 4.9 million shares.

Boeing has a market cap of $76.44 billion and is part of the industrial goods sector and aerospace/defense industry. Shares are up 36.9% year to date as of Thursday's close. The stock's dividend yield sits at 1.9%.

The Boeing Company, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the design, development, manufacture, sale, and support of commercial jetliners, military aircraft, satellites, missile defense, human space flight, and launch systems and services worldwide. The company has a P/E ratio of 18.9, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
