NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- Micron Technology (Nasdaq: MU) hit a new 52-week high Wednesday as it is currently trading at $14.22, above its previous 52-week high of $14.11 with 8.4 million shares traded as of 9:51 a.m. ET. Average volume has been 34.8 million shares over the past 30 days.

Micron Technology has a market cap of $13.87 billion and is part of the technology sector and electronics industry. Shares are up 116.9% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday.
