9. -- The initial public offering for HD Supply, a diversified industrial distribution company, was priced below expectations on Wednesday.

The 53.2-million-share offering of the Atlanta company was priced at $18; HD Supply had hoped the shares would be priced from $22 to $25.

10. -- South African President Jacob Zuma cancelled a trip to Mozambique on Thursday after visiting former leader Nelson Mandela, who remains critically ill in a Pretoria hospital, the BBC reported.

A Zuma spokesman said the condition of Mandela, 94, had deteriorated "in the past 48 hours," the report said

Mandela, South Africa's first black president, has been in hospital since June 8 with a recurring lung infection.
