Farm Journal Media Selects Bridgeline Digital's IAPPS Platform

BURLINGTON, Mass., June 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (Nasdaq:BLIN), The Digital Engagement Company™, announced today that Farm Journal Media has selected the iAPPS platform to power its Professional Farmers of America (PFA) website, the "go-to", subscription-based website for the farming industry. Farm Journal Media selected iAPPS for its overall scalability, along with its deep integration of requisite digital engagement tools on a single, unified platform. The iAPPS platform enables users to easily publish and optimize web content using iAPPS Content Manager, execute email marketing initiatives and manage dynamic distribution lists with iAPPS Marketier, and enhance the effectiveness of their web strategies through iAPPS Analyzer

The PFA website is a vital resource for actionable agricultural information, including commodity markets, farm policy and breaking news. In order to maintain its status as a thought-leader and top advisor in the farming industry, PFA is continuously producing high volumes of content - upwards of 150 pieces weekly that include extensive use of video and podcasts - and selected iAPPS for its scale, capabilities, out-of-the box integrations and ease-of-use. In addition, to more effectively engage with existing members, PFA will leverage the iAPPS platform to aggressively increase subscriptions via email marketing campaigns and short-term access to premium content which will be tied to bundled promotions.

"We required a robust digital engagement platform for one of our flagship web properties, the Pro Farmer website. iAPPS was the clear choice for its scale, integrated platform and overall value," stated Chuck Roth, Senior Vice President, Farm Journal Media. "In addition, the Bridgeline team has a proven track record in developing and designing websites that are engaging and intuitive, and can drive increased traffic and membership. We are excited to have selected Bridgeline and the iAPPS platform for the launch of our next generation Pro Farmer website."
