Xcel Energy's total corporate giving exceeded $37.7 million in 2012. This includes donations from the Xcel Energy Foundation, contributions to energy assistance organizations, and employee giving and volunteer hours. "We are proud to contribute to the strength of the communities where we live and work, and our environmental leadership is just one way we accomplish that," said Fowke.
