Copart, Inc. provides online auctions and vehicle remarketing services in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The company offers various services to process and sell vehicles over the Internet through its Virtual Bidding Second Generation Internet auction-style sales technology. Copart has a market cap of $4.6 billion and is part of the services sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 25.8, above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7. Shares are up 25.1% year to date as of the close of trading on Thursday. Currently there are no analysts that rate Copart a buy, 1 analyst rates it a sell, and 8 rate it a hold.

TheStreet Ratings rates Copart as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, solid stock price performance, expanding profit margins and notable return on equity. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company shows weak operating cash flow.

On the positive front, Lentuo International ( LAS), down 12.1%, Sport Chalet ( SPCHA), down 5.8%, Zale Corporation ( ZLC), down 3.4% and Books-A-Million ( BAMM), down 2.7% , were all gainers within the specialty retail industry with Coinstar ( CSTR) being today's featured specialty retail industry leader.
